We’re a locally-owned butcher shop with a commitment to quality, community, and sustainability. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Grind Room Technician.

As a Grind Room Technician, you will play a crucial role in our daily production process, ensuring that our ground meats hit the highest mark of quality and consistency. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding equipment, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols, and working closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations. Experience is always welcome but we will train the right candidate. Growth is always the goal, professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

 Operate and maintain grinding equipment, including meat grinders and other machinery.

 Ensure that all ground meat products are processed according to established quality standards.

 Monitor equipment performance and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.

 Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

 Assist in inventory management and ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials.

 Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

 Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and hygiene.

Qualifications:

 Prior experience in a meat processing or similar production environment is desired but not required.

 Familiarity with grinding equipment and meat processing techniques is a plus.

 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

 Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

 Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.

 Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Pay: From $16-$18 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
