Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be a key member of our team, managing various accounting tasks and responsibilities within the industry. Your primary duties will revolve around maintaining customer accounts, processing applications, and handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records accurately Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly Assist in the process of disputing chargebacks in the payment system Update sections of our forms for payments using Adobe software Regularly pull reports from our internal system for record-keeping and analysis Aid in the process of writing off and pull/cancellation when necessary Manage over 1,000 chargebacks monthly, including duplicating the process in our internal system and Microsoft Great Plains Leverage accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for various accounting functions Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the account status. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) Familiarity with IBM AS/400 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites Understanding of Accounting Functions Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Billing Functions Ability to manage Cash Activity Experience in Check Processing Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
