Accounting Specialist

Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Specialist for a PART-TIME, fully in-office role expected to last six months. The Accounting Specialist will work 20 hours/wk and have some flexibilty on schedule as long as it is consistent each week and hours are between Mon - Fri and 8AM to 5PM. Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable: You will process all vendor invoices for a single entity, including check and ACH paymentsFleet Management: You will provide assistance in managing our vehicle fleet, particularly in vehicle registrations, such as adding or removing vehicles from our insurance, managing titles and platesCredit Card Expense Reporting: You will review all credit card statements and match all expenses to corresponding receiptsBank Reconciliation: You will carry out daily bank reconciliation and handle daily transfers. Sales Tax Filings: You will be responsible for filing sales taxes across more than 20 states. The current person in-charge will hand off this responsibility to you, and guide you through the process.We are looking for someone detailed, diligent, and able to work autonomously.
