Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Sales & Inspection Technician with a dual focus on performing thorough inspections of light lifting equipment and driving direct sales of chain hoists from our specialized service truck. This unique role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, offering immediate on-site solutions to our clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:· Conduct detailed inspections of light lifting equipment at customer sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.· Directly sell chain hoists from the service truck, using your product knowledge and understanding of customer needs to drive sales.· Directly sell inspections based on compliance, using your product knowledge and understanding of customer needs to drive sales.· Provide on-site demonstrations of chain hoists, showcasing features, benefits, and suitability for customer requirements.· Manage and maintain the inventory of chain hoists and related equipment on the service truck, ensuring readiness for immediate sales.· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.· Offer technical advice and support to customers regarding the use, maintenance, and benefits of our chain hoists and other lifting equipment.· Accurately document inspections, sales, and customer interactions in the company’s SLIM device.· Provide valuable feedback from field experiences to the sales and product development teams to improve product offerings and sales strategies.· Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies regarding equipment safety and operational procedures.· Stay updated with the latest product developments, and technical skills.· Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.· Maintain company vehicle and uniforms.· Participate in monthly safety meetings.· Read and understand the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI and other codes or regulations of our industry. Refresh and update knowledge periodically.· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.· Route scheduling for KC Lite inspections
