Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Fort Wayne . As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment used in the production of dairy products such as milk, cottage cheese, and sour cream. This role requires hands-on work with conveyors, palletizing/wrapping machines, bag sealers, filler machines, blow molds, mixing machines, label printers, pipes, valves, forklifts, and facilities maintenance.Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment.
Conduct reactive maintenance to address equipment failures and issues.
Work on conveyors, palletizing/wrapping machines, bag sealers, filler machines, blow molds, and mixing machines.
Maintain and repair label printers, pipes, valves, and forklifts.
Ensure facilities maintenance tasks are completed.
Be on call on Sundays as part of a rotating schedule, with guaranteed OT pay.
Essential Skills
Experience with mechanical repair and maintenance.
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in preventive maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with conveyor systems (VFD).
Own tooling (hand and power tools).
Experience in the food and beverage industry (preferred).
Controls experience (preferred).
Servo experience (preferred).
