POSITION: Maintenance Technician

TYPE: Temp/Contract

Location: Meijer Supermarket

RESPONSIBILITIES- The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs their assigned facilities and the assets inside them, including supporting operations, inspections, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and food equipment.- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.- Minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs.- Troubleshoot and repair motors and pumps.- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.- Plumbing repairs.- Participate in on-call, and hour calls as needed.

REQUIRED- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience- Driver's License - No vehicle is provided; however, mileage is expensed at the US mileage rate of $0.62 cents a mile.- 2+ years of applicable work experience in general commercial building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical.

SKILLED:- Lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess a mechanical and electrical aptitude.- Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
