The Senior Product Owner will lead a Business Process Development team to drive the redesign and functional development of new capabilities and supporting business processes for one or more functional areas of our organization. This role will work closely with Product Managers, business leaders, and a cross-functional team to deliver value to our clients and team members. This role will also manage the overall effort to deliver products, capabilities, services, and enhancements using the strategic vision as well as established key performance indicators.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, & Preferred Qualifications- College degree (BA/BS or advanced degree and/or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years' experience in product management, product software delivery, product operations, or related functions
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, web application development, and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in design, development, and implementation of product plans.
- Demonstrated experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, as evidenced by experience leading 1 or more teams
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, sometimes with incomplete information to close gaps and meet the needs of internal stakeholders and customers alike
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships within and across delivery teams, partners, and stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead a conversation to achieve a desired outcome
- Proficiency in Human Centered Design principles and Design Thinking techniques, including LUMA methods
