Description We are seeking a proficient Tax Preparer with specific experience in CCH Axcess. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding and experience in tax preparations for individuals and businesses and determines how to apply these abilities for the benefit of our clients.Responsibilities:
Prepare federal, state and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Utilize CCH Axcess tax software to accurately prepare and file tax returns.
Provide educated tax planning strategies to clients based on their financial situation.
Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and concerns.
Keep current with changing tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
Assist and mentor junior tax preparers to enhance their skills and understanding of the tax preparation process.
Maintain secure and organized electronic client files and tax documents.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience with tax preparation, with demonstrated proficiency in CCH Axcess.
Thorough knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
High degree of professionalism and adherence to company standards for integrity and confidentiality
