Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Wheaton, Illinois. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, interacting with clients and customers, and general office duties, in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining calendars to ensure efficient scheduling Acting as the first point of contact with clients and customers, greeting them and responding to their inquiries Handling incoming phone calls, including transferring calls and taking messages as necessary Undertaking typing projects as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) for various tasks Performing general office duties to keep the workplace organized and running smoothly Answering inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously Providing excellent customer service, resolving any issues quickly and satisfactorily Undertaking data entry tasks, ensuring all customer details are accurate and up-to-date Scheduling appointments, managing timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. Requirements Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently Proven customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent service Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to manage email correspondence effectively and maintain organized electronic files Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Excellent scheduling skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate appointments effectively No specific years of experience required, but prior administrative or customer service experience can be beneficial Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be organized, punctual, and reliable Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively High school diploma or equivalent education level required.
