We are currently looking for an Events Specialist to join Camping World's premier in-house Events and Experiences team. If you are looking for a new challenge with a fun work environment and an entrepreneurial culture, we'd love to have you join our team. As an Event Specialist, you will report to the Events & Experience Manager. In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of our onsite dealership events and grand openings, brand activations at key sponsorship events, and large-scale owned Ultimate RV Show across the United States. The Event Specialist will attend to details to ensure each event operates smoothly and resolves any issues that arise prior to and during the course of the event.The event specialist position manages several projects at once. Travel and long hours, both on the road and in the office, are regularly required, particularly leading up to and following an event.What You'll Do:

Assist with the execution of Camping World events; facilitate planning, coordinate show schedules, task lists, and deadlines for each national show or event assigned.

Supports event managers to produce pre/post-show reviews and assessments.

Facilitate and guides the creative process including submitting work requests, reviewing changes, and routing for approval.

Point person to coordinate detailed schedules, delivery operations, load-in/load-out planning, and work with event-related vendors.

Administrative responsibilities within the Events & Experience department may include invoicing, scheduling meetings, organizing documents for reference, and creating presentations.

Contribute to brainstorming, consistently monitoring competitive landscape and event marketing trends in order to make effective recommendations.

Provides on-site event support to execute events, flexibility to travel, including nights, weekends, holidays, roughly 50-60% of the time .

What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

2-3+ years of proven experience as an events coordinator in a fast paced environment.

Strong project management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail, with excellent follow-up, as well as strong analytical and quantitative skills

Ability to think both creatively and strategically

Demonstrates positive energy and attitude while gracefully handling stress in the face of challenges and deadlines

Willingness to be flexible to manage shifting priorities, project requirements, demands, and timelines.

Able to handle a broad spectrum of day-to-day responsibilities as related to our event schedules, to include special events taking place at our dealerships, brand activations at key sponsorship events and large-scale owned Ultimate RV Show.

Seamlessly build relationships across multiple groups and communicate effectively with both peers and upper management, both written and verbally

Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality.

Outstanding creative presentation skills.

Must be able to perform physical tasks (lifting over 30-40lbs, standing and walking for long periods of time)
