HODGE WESTERN CORP JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILIITES:Successfully perform all Project Engineer responsibilities to assist with the management of projects from beginning to completionReview and understand contract documents as they apply to areas of responsibilityNotify management of significant project events, issues, injuries, safety concerns and client relationsAssist with project quality control and safety plansAssist project manager with schedules and pay applicationsAssist with daily problems solving and organizationAssist with consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports. Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope.Conduct self in a way that represents the company in a safe and professional manner.Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a weekSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 2 years' experience in Construction field associated with commercial and/or heavy civil construction is preferredAbility to communicate well in English both written and verballyDemonstrates proficiency in using a personal computer and other company communication tools including Microsoft productsExperience reading project plans and specifications.ABOUT US:We perform work in numerous market sectors, providing highly productive and safe utility trenching services with specialized equipment.
