The ideal candidate will contribute to the academic and clinical excellence of university programs by engaging in high-quality teaching, research and/or service activities. The faculty member will contribute to strong student outcomes and program success by working collaboratively with colleagues and students to advance the field of speech-language pathology and communication sciences and disorders, and preparing future practitioners.Key Responsibilities:TeachingDevelop and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in speech-language pathology, communication sciences, and related areas.Mentor and advise students in academic, research, and clinical practice areas.Supervise clinical practicum experiences and provide guidance in clinical decision-making.Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment efforts to ensure alignment with current best practices and accreditation standards.ServiceParticipate in departmental, college, and university committees and initiatives.Contribute to community outreach programs and services related to speech-language pathology and communication sciences.Provide service to the profession through involvement in professional organizations and committees.Assist with student recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts.ResearchEngage in scholarly research activities in areas related to speech-language pathology, communication disorders, or related fields.Pursue external funding to support research initiatives.Collaborate with faculty and students on interdisciplinary research projects.Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and develop proposals for relevant national and international conferences.
