This Network Administrator is a long-term contract / temporary to hire role in the Rockford, Illinois, area.Responsibilities- Distributing LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures- Troubleshooting and fixing local area networks / wide area network problems, including performance, connectivity and related issues- Arranging and performing network software and hardware upgrades- Adhering to company policies and procedures to administer the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services Requirements - Aptitude for troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing problems- Experience in production environments and willingness to be on-call- 5+ years of relevant experience- Cisco CCNA experience- Experience with SANs (Storage Area Networks)- CradlePoint or similar mobile/wireless communication support is required- Proficiency in TCP/IP- Expertise in customer service- Proven knowledge of IPv4- Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
