Our client, a leading industrial company, is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the shipping department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Job Title: Shipping AssociateLocation: Robinson, ILPay Range: $15.60/hr.What's the Job?

Checks, packs, and identifies shipping orders.

Uses all required powered and/or manually moved material handling equipment and moves orders from holding storage areas to packing locations.

Obtains required shipping papers, checks orders and shipping papers for special information, and obtains the sizes of cartons as specified on orders, or selects appropriate standard size cartons from overhead racks. May cut down cartons. Moves and positions shelf and flat-bed trucks and skids and pallets at work locations to receive orders.

Removes products from shelf trucks, crates, and containers and checks stock number and quantity against orders. Contacts concerned areas regarding overages and shortages.

Packs products into cartons according to individual and special requirements and stuffs tightly with paper and corrugated dunnage when required. Inserts packing lists in envelopes and places into cartons. Closes and seals cartons with gummed tape.

What's Needed?

Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2 pm.

Experience using powered and/or manually moved material handling equipment.

Ability to use a computer system and its functions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
