We are seeking highly motivated wash and repair warehouse operators for our Rantoul, IL location to wash and repair plastic seed bin containers using a variety of hand tools and plastic welding equipment. What will you be doing?

Evaluate seed bins to determine necessary repairs

Wash seed bins using power sprayers

Cut out replacement sections from the scrap seed bin

Plastic weld the replacement section using proper welding techniques

Diagnose common equipment problems and effectively communicate with maintenance personnel

Coordinate with team members for maximum production efficiency and safety

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime

Use basic hand tools for routine equipment adjustments and repairs

Other duties as assigned

What makes you the right fit?

You can recognize and differentiate between different colors.

You have a mind for mechanical tasks!

You can quickly convert units of measurement.

You are a great problem solver and have experience troubleshooting equipment.

If you have plastic welding experience, that's a plus!

You have experience using hand tools like grinders, sawzall, drills and dremel tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Industrial warehouse environment.
