Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role involves working in a team to standardize folder permissions on common file shares globally. The successful candidate will be expected to independently lead, manage, plan, and organize activities while providing functional and technical knowledge and direction. Responsibilities: Leading, managing, and planning the standardization of the common folder permission structure Understanding and communicating project objectives, including business, technology, security risks, and goals Providing expertise for complex security related problem solving and risk mitigation Engaging appropriate stakeholders and incorporating their feedback and requirements Collaborating with business partners, stakeholders, and senior management Coordinating project communications, risks, and issue resolution Identifying obstacles and escalating issues as needed Providing resolution of major issues and managing project interdependencies and handoffs Tracking progress and creating project status reports and regular metrics.IT Project Manager Location: hybrid Monday-Thursday in Quincy, MA 02171, remote on Fridays Duration: 6 months with potential for extension Pay: $60.45 hourly on W2 (sorry, no C2C or Visa must be eligible to work in the U.S. available at this time) Job Description: - Independently lead manage plan organize and control the activities to standardize the common folder permission structure. - Understand the project objectives by thoroughly comprehending the business technology security risks and goals. - Provide functional and technical knowledge and direction. - Provide expertise for complex security related problem solving and risk mitigation. - Engage appropriate stakeholders and incorporating feedback and requirements. - Collaborate with business partners stakeholders and senior management. - Coordinate project communications risks and issues resolution. - Identify obstacles and escalate issues as needed. - Provide resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs. - Track progress and create project status reports and regular metrics. Day-to-day: · Review reports on folder permissions. · Analyzing the data on these reports. · Developing plans to remediate permissions issues. · Interface with admin groups to ensure permissions are added removed or reduced. · Attending meetings with business areas as needed. Track progress and collect methods. Requirements Qualifications Skills and Experience - Bachelors degree or equivalent. - At least 3 years of project management experience. - At least 3 years of risk/information security experience. - A good understanding of Windows permissions in regards to file shares and Active Directory with groups and group membership. - Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint. - Excellent organizational skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Self-motivated and self-sufficient. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels within a business area. - Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences. - Experience motivating and leading a team. - Financial services experience is preferred - CISSP CISM CRISC CISA SSCP or similar certification is a plus. - PMP certification is a plus.
