SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER - CLOUD EXPERIENCE

PEORIA, IL - this position is primarily home based with a few days a month in office requiredInsurance Solutions Delivery platforms offers a wide variety of products to handle customers Insurance continuum needs. From Marketing to Underwriting to Claims processing, the need for our solutions are widely relied on. As we continue to grow out our applications into the Cloud to better situate our solutions for the future, we are looking for a strong candidate to help ensure our transition goes smoothly and effectively. As this is a new and exciting opportunity, we are looking for candidates with existing Cloud Experience as well as individuals that can quickly adapt to the changing environment. Duties will range from developing new product enhancements to maintenance and troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS:• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required• Worked with Cloud technology stacks like Azure/AWS

TECHNICAL SKILLS:• Proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques. (e.g. ORM, LINQ, etc.)• Understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.• Proficient in multiple data storage subsystems. (e.g. MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)• Familiarity with Web development (e.g. HTML, (S)CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and optimally one or more web frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, etc.)• Strong research skills.• Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development.• Knowledge in using and developing applicable tool sets.• Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources.• Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.• Ability to complete complex bug fixes.• Good oral and written communications skills.• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Automation (e.g. GitHub Workflows)
