Job DescriptionAramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to join us. As a Regional Director of Operations you will plan, manage, and guide contracted services for multiple sites for a client or for multiple clients normally generating $2-15M+ in revenue to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.Depending on the client(s), services can include food service, facility support, custodial services, retail, lodging, transportation, and more. Our Regional Director of Operations are capable operations managers who lead a team to provide excellent service to our clients. With knowledge of the client?s business, positive relationship building skills, financial savvy, and a focus on safety, our team makes a difference every day.This role requires 75% travel within our North Central communities in Illinois!Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful Regional Director of Operations:
Skilled Change Champion who prepares the area?s culture to adapt to and embrace ongoing, fundamental changes that will enable the business to grow and prosper
Demonstrate ability to interpret, analyze, and explain the financial information. This includes understanding financial data and accurately interpreting financial information and reports and identifying the key factors affecting the financial performance
Manage accounts in and around Chicago, IL
Track record of ensuring high-quality services, financial success, and client satisfaction within the region while providing strong leadership.
Experience in multi-unit management in contract food services, required
Is proficient in various digital labor, procurement, menu production systems ensuring seamless operations, not required but preferred. EVS experienced preferred
Excels in written and verbal communication with internal teams and external partners.
Demonstrates exceptional leadership, training skills, and the ability to influence effectively.
Is adept at cultivating strong relationships, influencing, and inspiring teams.
Embodies a hands-on leadership style, believing that building robust relationships leads to success
QualificationsIn order to be prepared for this leadership role, qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
The ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues.
Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
Proven ability leading through other managers.
Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
