Description
Design and implement complex systems and network solutions.
Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and redundancy.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with software developers, IT staff, and other stakeholders to integrate new systems and technologies.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
Ensure systems comply with security policies and industry best practices.
Conduct system performance analysis and optimization.
Plan and execute system upgrades and patches.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of system and network administration, including experience with Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP).
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
