Program Manager – User Migration Machine

Primary Needs: • Position will report into the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), providing leadership within the BTS Integration Management Office (IMO), working closely and in conjunction with the various Business Technology Organizations (BTOs). • Program Manager will provide leadership across an Integration Program deemed the User Migration Machine (UMM). The UMM Program: o Distributes built and secured laptops to the acquired company workforce. o Provides email and login identities to approximately 15,000 employees. • This individual will act as liaison between the existing Program Team, the IMO, and our Business facing IT roles. • The Program Manager will hold ultimate accountability for user facing rollout activities including: o Ensuring all user communications are prepared. o Ensuring business expectations for rollout are communicated. o Ensuring that testing for all BTO areas is completed. o Ensuring rollout pilots are representative of users. o Capturing rollout exceptions. o Ensuring team is ready for hyper care. o Communicating hyper care issues. • Our goal is to execute all migrations with minimal disruption to impacted individuals. • Strong Program-level leadership is required, along with ability to craft and deliver timely, relevant, and accurate communications. • Given the nature, scale and importance of this overall Program, a qualified candidate will possess prior experience leading complex, Global projects/programs, in particular involving user migrations. • Requires strong Program management skillset, including proven ability to lead and drive Program success. • Candidate should be an experienced (12+ years required) Program Manager. • Individual should be detail oriented and highly organized. • Strong collaboration and communication skills required given the high degrees of strategic impact, change, Program complexity, and Senior Executive interactions. • Strong presentation skills are required for presenting across Executive teams. • Experienced with well-executed, polished, and flawless Executive Leadership presentations and communications, with ability to instill confidence. • This is a high visibility program with multiple stakeholders. Will work with a matrixed team of staff, as well as vendors as the Program may dictate. • Initial contract to run from candidate’s start date through April 30, 2022, with further extension or conversion available following proven performance. • Please only submit candidates that possess an interest in, and are open to, the possibility for conversion to employee, as this is a contract to hire post if the individual demonstrates success in the role. • Will execute and deliver in line with below expectations.

Expectations: • Develop, execute, and manage program within the defined scope. • Lead all aspects of the program lifecycle, working with program sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of program completion. • Build and manage program’s work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the program. • Ensure transparent reporting of program status, issues, risks, and financials. • The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks. • May lead and direct the work of others. • Be able to work under general supervision. • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Specific Responsibilities: • Initiate and Plan Program: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on program goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables. • Program Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect the program, working with Business and IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the program is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. • Executing and Closing Program: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in delivering program scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final program approval from sponsor and stakeholders. • Program Communication: Communicate program progress by producing program reports to provide timely and accurate program status and decision support information to program teams, Business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current program status to resolve issues and manage risks. • Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure program needs are addressed, and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Motivates program team to deliver program outcomes. • Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures. • Decisions: Make decisions that impact program level activities.

Qualifications: • Primary Needs on page 1 are critical, including experience leading complex, Global projects/programs, in particular involving user migrations, as well as strong communication and presentation skills required for presenting across Executive teams. Experienced with well-executed, polished, and flawless Executive Leadership presentations and communications, with ability to instill confidence. • PPM Tool experience a must. • Individual must be able to work full time; will initially work in a remote setting, with transition to on-site in Lake County, at a future date to-be-determined by manager.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with using Clarity PPM. • Familiarity with Organization Change Management experience/knowledge. • PMP Certification. • Pharma experience.
