The successful candidate shall be able to perform process instrumentation calibration and repair, interpret drawings and instruction manuals and perform rigging as necessary to move, lift and position heavy equipment. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner. This position requires the use of manual, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical tools and test equipment as well as the ability to operate motorized lift trucks and overhead cranes. This role will pay $50.10 per hour. Requirements:
Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent completion of an approved apprenticeship program
48 months experience in instrument and electrical maintenance in a power plant or heavy industry (Power Plant experience preferred)
Possess a working knowledge of mathematics and physics
Must provide documentation to support their instrument and electrical experience
Possess patience and ability to exercise care when working with small and precision parts
Must possess basic computer skills needed to perform job functions as needed in a computer based maintenance system.
Ability to climb ladders, lift and carry heavy loads
Ability to work in areas involving heights, enclosed spaces, and near or above water
Must be available and willing to work overtime, and ability to work shift work
