UX/User Researcher

This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week)Dremel is looking for an experienced UX/User Researcher to join our Product Development team, supporting our commitment to becoming a user-centered brand. In this role, you will lead the design, execution, and synthesis of user research that drives innovation in product and brand marketing. You will work cross-functionally, coordinating with external research partners, product teams and UX coaches to deliver actionable insights that guide the creation of user-centered solutions.This is an excellent opportunity to impact product strategy and champion a user-centered design approach within Dremel.Responsibilities:Design, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using diverse methodologies, such as field studies, lab testing, remote testing, and surveys.Coordinate with market research agencies, overseeing partnerships to ensure timely, high-quality insights into user needs and market trends.Oversee syndicated research subscriptions to ensure continuous access to critical insights that inform product and brand strategy.Develop and implement rigorous, unbiased research methodologies for user interviews, applying user-centered design and Design Thinking principles.Identify and deploy digital platforms and tool kits to streamline research processes, maximizing efficiency in data synthesis and insight generation.Work closely with product, UX and design teams to integrate research findings into product strategies, design solutions, and technical requirements.Partner with UX coaches to consolidate user research and trend analysis into actionable insights, driving product development, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
