Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Overtime may be required based on workload and seasonality.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Material Handler and Field Support Associate to join our dynamic team at our distribution depot in Minooka, IL. This hybrid role combines traditional material handling responsibilities with field service duties, offering premium compensation for travel and customer support tasks.Ideal candidates will be experienced forklift operators with a strong sense of teamwork, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to step into hands-on, physically active roles both on-site and in the field.Forklift (Primary Responsibilities):Safely operate forklifts to load/unload commercial vehicles and store goods.Conduct physical inspections of incoming and outgoing products for quality assurance.Deliver consumable materials to production areas as needed.Maintain forklifts and other equipment in clean, working condition.Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.Prepping pallets for customer orders, ensuring accurate and secure packing.Lift and move heavy products, including items weighing up to 55 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. using team lifts.Coordinate with the Yard Supervisor to resolve discrepancies and equipment issues.Field Service & Dealer Support (Secondary Responsibility): Note: The Field Service & Dealer Support is considered a secondary duty and will only be assigned once the employee has successfully completed training and demonstrated proficiency in the primary role of Forklift.Travel occasionally to dealer and customer sites to:Conduct product and display inspections.Perform repairs and cleaning of displays and products.Update signage, labels, and marketing materials.Answer client questions and provide on-site support.Serve as a point of contact for dealer support, maintenance needs, and customer inquiries.Support marketing by distributing catalogs, brochures, and promotional materials.Please note that this is a local travel-based position. Crew members return home daily during most assignments. However, overnight travel may be required approximately 20% of the time after completing full training, based on job site needs.
