Adecco is assisting a local client in Machesney Park, IL in hiring 1st and 2nd shift Assemblers. These roles are temp to hire opportunities, but do require training on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks from 7am-3pm. Job duties for a 1st or 2nd shift Assembler opportunity include but are not limited to:
Set up and perform a limited amount of subassemblies, assembly, testing, and packing operations
Ensure productivity is maintained at 100%
Ensure the quality of products being made is within company standards, limiting customer dissatisfaction
Assemble small and large parts using fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders
Recognize potential problems with products or processes to ensure that company quality standards are maintained and trouble shoot as necessary
Ability to read simple prints and engineering specifications
Provide input during testing and final acceptance
You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for a 1st or 2nd shift Assembly role:
HSD/GED is required
Ability to train on 1st shift
Lift 50 lbs
Previous Assembly experience 1-2 years
