We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage customer accounts and provide technical support for Honeywell Analytics life safety equipment in North America. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for on-site service contract setup, equipment maintenance and repairs, customer inventory management, commissioning and installations, and handling customer complaints. This role requires strong technical and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage personal schedule and inventory.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On-site service contract: Set up maintenance and service structure, commission and upgrade equipment, and provide service reports.
Manage customer inventory or recommend parts for inventory.
Scheduled equipment maintenance: Schedule and document all equipment maintenance and repairs.
Evaluate customer workload and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
Manage equipment expansions and new installations, provide training and customer support.
Document product issues and work with customers and HA Quality for resolution.
Update Outlook with weekly schedule.
Provide quotations for commissioning, training, emergency, and service calls.
Complete customer documentation in Siebel and/or customer's maintenance software program.
Personal inventory usage planning.
Order and maintain service inventory based on each LOB.
Inventory forecast based on customer's requirements.
Communicate directly with customers and internal staff to resolve technical issues.
Provide after-sales technical support and establish rapport with customers and Service Engineers. Oversee maintenance and scheduling of service contracts.
Provide new quotations and renewals.
Provide timesheets and vacation schedule.
Manage Siebel database, travel planner, and expense reports.
Manage personal safety training.
Work directly with regional sales managers to manage on-site customer accounts.
YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma required
Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sales Force
Associate's Degree in Engineering/Electronics or equivalent military experience preferred
Experience in life safety business in the semiconductor industry preferred
