As a Machine Setup Operator Level 1 here at Honeywell Industrial Automation, you will play a critical role in setting up and operating machinery to ensure efficient production processes. Leveraging your technical skills and expertise, you will be responsible for performing machine setups, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our production operations and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Freeport, Illinois location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production processes, ensuring that our products are manufactured to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your contributions will directly contribute to the success of our customers and the growth of our business. Service and operate machines according to specifications and production requirements.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Previous Machining experience.
Strong technical skills and ability to operate machinery and equipment
Knowledge of machine setup procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
