Sample Management Courier

Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Courier/Bottle Preparation Associate for the Elmhurst, IL Service Center.The Courier is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of environmental samples (water, soil and air samples) to and from the service center and the University Park testing laboratory using a company vehicle. Only a portion of the work week will involve driving. There are a variety of other duties including helping at the lab with sample login and disposal, preparing bottle kits and cleaning and lifting sample coolers up to 50 lbs.Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocolsResponsible for quality control of all assignment and completing documentsFollowing and enforcing company health and safety policies.Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.Will assist with data collection and routine sampling as needed The ideal candidate would possess:Ability to follow GPS directions Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
