System Design & Architecture: Develop, configure, and optimize system infrastructures to meet business objectives and performance requirements.
Implementation: Deploy, test, and maintain software and hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee the health, performance, and security of systems by establishing robust monitoring and maintenance practices.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous availability.
Automation: Design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network engineers, and business analysts, to ensure systems meet user and business needs.
Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Upgrades & Scalability: Plan and execute system upgrades, expansions, and migrations to support organizational growth.
Research & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
3+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
Proven expertise in systems integration, network architecture, and server administration.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs).
Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Experience with database systems (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
