Truck dispatcher wanted. Salary plus percentage pay.

We are a 100% owner-operator company based in Mt Prospect IL. Our services are mainly in the dry van and reefer market segment and we work for brokers and direct shippers. We are currently looking for an experienced dispatcher to join our team at our Mt Prospect office.The ideal candidate will have previous truck dispatching experience, great communication skills, self-discipline, and will be a money-driven team player. We are also looking for someone who is fluent in English. Being bilingual is a plus but not a requirement.Your daily responsibilities will include:Scheduling loads for a fleet of assigned trucks. The number of assigned units will vary based on your abilities and experience. Using online platforms to negotiate rates and short-term dry van and reefer contracts. You will be given access to a number of load boards and additional resources to help you get the highest-paying loads for your assigned trucks.Communicating with freight brokers and shippers via phone and email.We are looking for someone who can establish long-lasting relationships with our customers and solicit new business.Negotiating with and providing support to our driving partners.Tracking and updating orders in progress. Reporting delays, detentions, overages, damages, etc.Keeping a weekly personal performance sheet.We offer very competitive compensation which includes a flat salary and a performance-based weekly bonus.
