We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our semi-truck repair shop in Gurnee, IL.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Overseeing the daily operations of a work crew. Assigning task and responsibilities to crew members.
Coordinating daily work based on priorities and plans. Monitoring work progress and ensuring task are completed on time.
Communicating work instructions and providing guidance to workers and management.
Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring workers adhere to safety-to-safety protocols. Inspecting work for quality and adherence to standards.
Monitoring and managing the performance of crew members. Addressing personnel issues and resolving conflicts.
Preparing and maintaining necessary documentation, suck as daily work logs.
Identifying and addressing potential problems and issues on the worksite. Making decisions in stressful situations and resolving conflicts.
REQUIREMENT:
Proven experience in a similar role 1+ years.
CDL class A.
Knowledge of the FULL BAY program is urgently needed.
Vehicle Type: Heavy semi equipment Cottrell trailers and Heavy trucks Kenworth.
Job Type: Monday- Friday (7AM-5PM)
Work Location: GURNEE, IL
