We're looking for an experienced DOT Compliance/Safety Manager to lead our driver compliance and safety training program. This role ensures our fleet complies with FMCSA, DOT, PHMSA, and OSHA regulations. The manager will maintain driver records, stay updated on regulations, and promote a safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep Driver Qualification Files current (insurance, physicals, licenses);
- Conduct safety training aligned with federal and state laws;
- Manage drug and alcohol testing, including random screenings;
- Lead driver onboarding and safety training;
- Analyze HOS, safety, and maintenance compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in transportation compliance;
- Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations;
- Fleet management experience;
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
