In this position, your task will be attracting candidates to interview & hire great truck drivers. A successful recruiter-driver manager will work with department managers and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using a variety of sources including social media, networks and referrals. To be successful in this role, you will follow the driver from start to finish as they onboard and continue within the company. Provide excellent leadership to a group of hardworking drivers within our company.
Create & maintain a pipeline of qualified drivers by using different lead generation tools
Work in collaboration with all departments to meet recruiting & hiring objectives
Maintain & review driver recruiting goals to keep current with the needs of our company
Proactively hire drivers, processing them from start to finish. IE: Processing MVR’s, the scheduling of road tests, etc
Manage the new driver onboarding & orientation process
Manage ad posting process & tools
Must be able to track & report on all activities on a routine basis
Conduct monthly & annually Market analysis
Perform other duties as assigned, such as HR related issues
Providing ongoing direction & leadership to our drivers
Collaborate with others in the company to identify & implement creative solutions to improve retention
We expect you have:
At least 2 years of Recruitment experience, or alternative
Previous experience as a Driver Recruiter/Driver Business leader
Extensive understanding of recruitment strategies and methods
Fluent in English
Meticulous with attention to confidentiality
Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
