Job Summary:

As an Account Manager at STS Freight Logistics, you will leverage your existing client base and relationships to drive sales, manage accounts, and grow our business. Your role will involve selling freight services to trucking companies, pursuing new shippers, and conducting meetings with potential clients to showcase our brokerage’s value.

Key Responsibilities:

· Client Management: Utilize your existing book of business to manage and grow relationships with shippers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

· Sales: Actively sell freight brokerage services to trucking companies, highlighting the benefits and value of partnering with STS Freight Logistics.

· Business Development: Seek out and develop relationships with new shippers, expanding our client base and increasing revenue.

· Meetings & Presentations: Travel to meet potential clients to understand their logistics needs and present tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.

· Account Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of client accounts, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.

· Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our services and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Proven success in freight brokerage sales and account management.

· Network: Established book of business with existing shipper relationships.

· Sales Skills: Strong ability to sell freight services and close deals.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for presenting and negotiating.

· Client Management: Skilled in managing accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.

· Business Development: Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

· Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings.

· Industry Knowledge: Understanding of freight brokerage and logistics.

· Self-Motivated: Driven, with strong organizational and time management skills.

· Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM and TMS systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Schaumburg, IL 60173
