POSITION: Painting Estimator (Chicago & Suburbs)
Bold Coat Painters is a fast-growing painting company serving Chicago and nearby suburbs. We’re hiring an in-person Painting Estimator to meet with homeowners, assess interior and exterior jobs, and write up professional estimates.
This is NOT a cold-calling sales gig — we provide all the leads. You just show up, quote the job, and help us win the work. We’re looking for someone hungry, personable, and ready to grow with us.
SERVICES YOU’LL QUOTE
Interior wall and ceiling repaints
Exterior siding, stucco, brick
Accent walls, cabinets, and more
REQUIREMENTS
Your own reliable vehicle (gas/mileage reimbursed)
Strong communication and people skills
Experience in painting, trades, or in-home estimates is a plus
PAY STRUCTURE
$20–$25/hr base pay to start
3%–6% commission on every job you close
First 3 months: 1099 contractor
After 3 months: W2 employee with full-time benefits and a company vehicle
Bonuses for top closers and steady performance
Pay raises as you grow with the company
SCHEDULE
Flexible – part-time or full-time available
Most estimates are scheduled mid-morning, afternoons, or weekends
