We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator In Bolingbrook IL .
Full-time job: Monday- Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Starting rate between $20-$25 per hour.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage transportation logistics.
Collaborate with suppliers to maintain effective supplier management practices.
Analyze shipping costs and pricing strategies to improve overall efficiency.
Support e-commerce initiatives by ensuring that online orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Provide mechanical knowledge support for equipment used in logistics operations as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
Strong Computer skills
Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
