To assist in the property operation and maintenance of the Safehouse at WINGS Metro.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as deep cleaning, touch-up painting and basic repairs
such as simple plumbing, light fixture maintenance and assembly of furniture.
Coordinate with contractors when outside work is scheduled.
Ensure the facility is safe and secure including conducting daily inspections and reporting
potential hazards.
Maintain inventory of items necessary for the house to operate such as toilet paper, garbage
bags, etc.
Assist with set-up and breakdown for events.
Apply practical problem-solving skills to address on-the-spot challenges during repair and
maintenance tasks.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with basic plumbing and HVAC knowledge required.
Knowledge of the proper cleaning solutions and techniques to be used on various surfaces
required.
Ability to troubleshoot causes of maintenance problems and help implement long-term solutions
to prevent recurrence.
Bilingual skills (Spanish) preferred.

Ability to work proactively, independently and take direction all with attention to detail.
Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities, including but not limited to lifting up to 35 pounds using both hands/arms on a regular basis, climbing stairs, and standing for 8 hours.
