Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate MUST BE a master tradesman in their craft, able to complete work to local/state code, have own tools and truck or van. Candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present daily project updates to the project manager team members, General Contractor and operations team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Project Manager role located in Chicago, IL at RUFARRO REMODELING & MAINTENANCE LLC. The Project Manager will be responsible for work assigments, overseeing and managing various remodeling and maintenance projects, coordinating with management team and subcontractors, developing project plans and timelines, monitoring project progress, and ensuring projects pass all inspections and are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination: ● Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, resources, and risk management strategies. ● Coordinate project activities across teams, ensuring all parties are aligned on goals, timelines, and quality standards. ● Organize project kick-off meetings, define project scope, deliverables, and milestones, and communicate the project’s objectives to all stakeholders. ● Assist where needed with material and supply pickup and delivery. ● Assist where needed to help tradesperson(s) push through assigned work to meet timeline ●Complete work assignements as needed
Budget & Resource Management: ● Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, and costs stay within the approved limits. ● Monitor and track project expenses, making adjustments to keep projects on budget while maintaining quality. ● Source and manage vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services within the project budget.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving: ● Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. ● Resolve project issues and conflicts by implementing effective solutions that minimize delays and costs. ● Adapt project strategies as necessary to overcome unforeseen challenges and ensure successful project delivery
Must Have Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish
Bachelor's Degree, Licensed Tradesman, Master Level Tradesman or equivalent experience
Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Strong leadership, verbal, written, and organizational skills
Pick-up truck or Cargo van required
