Position: Personal Assistant (Part-Time / Potential Full-Time)

Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour (1099 Contractor)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

I own multiple small businesses - a real estate brokerage, a small business consulting company, and several hair salons - and I'm seeking a highly competent,

proactive Personal Assistant. This role will involve both administrative and personal tasks. There is potential

for the position to become full-time and grow in scope and compensation based on performance and skill set.

Depending on the candidate's strengths and interests, responsibilities could be divided in one of two ways:

1. Salon-Focused (75% Salon, 25% Personal Tasks)

- Primarily working at the front desk of a hair salon.

- Checking guests in and out, handling payments.

- Basic cleaning (sweeping floors, doing laundry, cleaning bathroom, taking out trash).

- Stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment.

- Personal errands or administrative tasks when salon duties are lighter.

2. Personal-Assistant-Focused (25% Salon, 75% Personal/Admin Tasks)

- Limited front desk work at the salon (could be backup or fill-in when needed).

- A greater emphasis on administrative, personal tasks, and errands, such as sorting receipts, data entry,

organizing records, researching topics (finding vendors, comparing prices), running personal errands

(dry cleaning, returns, grocery shopping), light housekeeping or organization projects (home office,

car detailing), and supporting business-related admin (appointment setting, calling vendors, scheduling).

Key Responsibilities

Administrative/Clerical: Data entry, file organization (electronic and paper), scheduling appointments,

coordinating with vendors/clients, drafting emails/reports, researching products or services.

Technology & Creativity: Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in Google Workspace tools

(Documents, Spreadsheets, Calendar), familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva),

and experience (or willingness to learn) using ChatGPT.

Salon Duties (if applicable): Front-desk tasks (greeting clients, handling transactions, scheduling),

maintaining cleanliness, restocking salon products.

Personal Errands & Tasks: Running errands (dry cleaning, returns), basic domestic support

(office organization, car detailing), and minor home maintenance tasks if comfortable.

Physical Requirements

Must be comfortable being on your feet, moving around, and performing light cleaning or lifting tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

Competence & Reliability: Proven ability to take initiative, pay attention to detail, and complete tasks

to a high standard.

Excellent Communication: Polite, professional, and clear in both oral and written communication.

Tech Savvy: Able to use or quickly learn Google Workspace tools, ChatGPT, and graphic design software.

Customer Service: Friendly and courteous demeanor, especially when greeting and assisting salon clients.

Valid Driver's License & Transportation: Required for running errands and possibly traveling

between locations.

Schedule & Availability

- Salon-Focused Role: Evenings and weekends are likely if working the front desk.

- Personal-Assistant-Focused Role: Mornings or flexible weekdays are most common.

This role could start as part-time (with potential for more hours) and may evolve into full-time depending on

business needs and your performance.

Compensation & Growth

- Hourly Rate: $20–$25 per hour (1099 Contractor), depending on experience and skill set.

- Opportunity for increased compensation as the scope of work and responsibilities widen.

- Although there might not be formal title advancements, there is plenty of room to grow within the businesses

as you prove your capabilities.
