You could work onsite with Robert Half local client in the Chicago, Illinois area by joining an existing team as their Senior Project Manager. The main part of this role is responsibility for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. You'll be great at this position if you feel you can manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. Your responsibilities

- Works with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

- In charge of project planning

- Accumulates briefing from business analysts, technical leads, and QA leads into plans

- Get involved to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager

- Supervises deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, tech lead, and Product Owner

- Schedules and runs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and tracks ticket assignments

- Foster the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

- Enhances the daily stand-ups, making sure they are brief, focused, and timely

- Acts as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies

- Helps to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

- Joins with Product Owner/Product Manager to provide that the product vision and high-level business objectives are error-free and doable

- Follows and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

- Work in close cooperation with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Product Specialist

- Works with and communicates with technical team members, designers, stakeholders, and developers

- Develops schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

- Gives a hand to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

- Grants detailed reporting to management on project status, milestone completion, and risk assessments

- Sets forth the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

- Indicates project with reliable ticket workflows and boards

- Verify that the functional requirements are tracked, met, and achievable

Requirements

- We'll consider you a good candidate for this position if you are flexible and focused

- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

- Applicants should have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

- Can work independently with minimal supervision

- This position will be the best fit for a candidate with a Project Management (PMP) certification

- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operation and project management skills

- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

- You could be a good applicant for this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

- Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols
