Adesso, a 40+ year high end retail store in Highland Park Il, is looking for a part time shipping and receiving associate.
Ideal working hours for a parent or guardian, 9-12 or 10-1, Tu-Fri
Skills Required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization skills, needs to be detail oriented
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Strong computer skills
Meticulous with work station and multitasking skills
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
o Receive product by matching invoice/packing list to purchase order and product
o Inspect merchandise for flaws and defects
o Ticket merchandise
o Organize and maintain back stock in stockroom
o Safely pack, label and ship gifts and merchandise for UPS
o General maintenance of the sales floor and downstairs: wash floors and windows, clean bathroom, replace light bulbs, vacuum downstairs carpet
o Stock sales desk with gift boxes, bags, and packing material
o Maintain receiving area
o Communicate about needs: gift boxes, packing supplies and maintenance supplies
