Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our house call healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently while addressing patient inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff members.
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
Process patient intake forms and maintain accurate electronic health records
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding patient care plans and follow-up appointments when needed
Document sorting/ faxing/ linking
Process medical records requests
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits
Skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in medical office management practices
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
Proficient in using electronic health record systems preferred but not necessary
Spanish speaking a plus
