Volt is looking for a picker/packer for our global client in Bolingbrook for 1st shift (8am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday) $14/hr.Process Inventory Fulfillment, Inquiry Fulfillment and/or receipts of inventory in compliance with all Itworks procedures and standards.Capable of working in one or more departments.Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all duties clearly and accurately recording information on documents and in software applications. Regularly lifting and carrying items that weigh up to 40 lbs. and measure up to 24” on any and every side. Regularly reaching for items that weigh up to 40 lbs and lifting them to and from shoulder heightOperating and completing certification for forklift, order picker, turret truck, and other lift equipmentOperating small machines including pallet jacks, scales, folders, inserters, cutters, binders, etcUsing tools including box cutters, tape guns and dispensers, staplers, etcLoading, unloading, and pushing/pulling a cart or pallet (with jack) weighing up to 1500 lbsStuffing and sealing envelopes, building boxes, collating material, inserting material, and preparing material for shipmentProcessing incoming material for receipt into inventory. Input data into Itworks applicationsPerforms all other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or GED requiredProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be certified to work in one or more departmentsReading, understanding, and following written and verbal instructions in English is a preferred requirement
