Well established metal fabrication shop, specializing in high end architectural metals is seeking a metal fabrication candidate.
Most of this position is assisting in the fabrication process, whether it be cutting steel to size or drilling accurate holes.
Must be able to :
- Read a tape measure and follow dimensioned drawings
- Problem solve.
- Work well with others and have a positive attitude
- Use most metalworking tools: drill press, saw, etc
- Read blueprints
- Welding is a plus but not necessary
- Be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
- HVLP painting experience a big plus
- Valid Drivers License
- Be willing to travel now and again.
The candidate should want a challenging position with growth potential.
