National legal document search, retrieval, and filing firm is looking for a full-time paralegal, legal assistant or legal researcher. The candidate must be a self-motivated, quick on their feet problem solver, with experience searching and abstracting a high volume of civil and criminal cases, judgments and liens. Filing experience with various governmental agencies is a plus. This is not a legal position, but a comprehensive understanding and ability to interpret court dockets is a requirement. There may be a good amount of flexibility to work from home, but preference will be given to candidates with easy access to the Daley Center and County Hall in addition to a strong background in the search and retrieval industry.
