Position: House Manager & Personal Assistant
Employment Type:Part-time (10 hours/week to start, potential for more)

Compensation:$30–$40/hour based on experience
Requirements: Non-smoker, pass background check, has transportation (can use family car when it’s available)

Core Responsibilities:
Household Organization & Management:
- Oversee ordering and restocking of household essentials.
- Oversee and perform household maintenance includingseasonal chores, cleanings and swaps (pillows, duvets, mattress covers, air filters).
- Managefreezer inventory— labeling, optimize food planning.
- Occasional deep cleaning of the fridge, freezer, and oven.
- Coordinate donations and pickups.
Errands & Household Tasks:
- Dry cleaning, returns (Amazon, retail), grocery and miscellaneous errands.
- Light cleaning (dishes,wipe down kitchen, bathroom sinks,dust, take out garbage/recycling) in between bi-weekly professional cleanings.
- Clean washing machine and dishwashers once a month
Project & Vendor Management:
- Research,gather quotesand coordinate home projects (e.g.,cast iron fence repair, roof replacement, contractor management).
- Inventory and overseerepairs and maintenance—schedule vendors and be available at home when necessary.
- Assist with research projects, includingtravel logistics and planning.
Laundry & Linens:
- Managehousehold laundry(clothing, sheets, towels, occasional ironing) in between cleaner visits.
- Keep linen closets organized and ensure bedding is rotated as needed.
- Closet organization, packing and unpacking for trips as needed.
Personal Assistant Duties:
- Miscellaneous administrative support and planning.
- Drive to the airport as needed.
- Car service appointments and regular care.
- Preparing for guests as needed.

- No meal prep required, but occasionalweekly smoothie prepmay be helpful.
- Position will be W-2.
- We are convenient to the Clybourn Metra, 90/94, 15 min walk from Damen blue line, and certain bus stops.
