Proposed Start Date: ASAP

Ideal Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Compensation: $28-30+/hour, based on experience

About Our Family

We are a family of four—two full-time working parents with two children (10 and 4). Our home is active and loving, and we’re looking for someone who will feel like a true part of our family—kind, flexible, and joyful about helping us run a smooth, organized household.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a warm, proactive, and highly organized individual who thrives on structure and enjoys making life easier for others. You should be the kind of person who creates a plan, follows through consistently, and brings calm, cheerful energy to your work. While we’ll start with 20 hours/week, we’re open to growing the position for the right person.

Core Responsibilities:

Household Management & Organization

Maintain systems for storage, toys, pantry, and general household order

Oversee seasonal swaps (clothes, décor, bedding)

Reset key living spaces daily to ensure tidiness and ease for the family

Prep home for cleaning services and manage basic daily upkeep (trash, dishes, vacuuming)

Handle household laundry (clothing, bedding, towels)

Manage occasional home organization projects

Inventory & Errands

Track and replenish pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household items

Handle online orders and shopping lists (Amazon, Target, etc.)

Run local errands (returns, dry cleaning, gift pickup, etc.)

Manage deliveries and sort mail

Meal Planning & Preparation

Plan and prepare simple, healthy family meals 2–3 times per week (no pork; lean proteins preferred)

Grocery shop for weekly meals and kitchen staples

Prep and pack occasional lunches/snacks

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and reset after prep

Strong culinary experience is a plus and may increase hourly rate

Family Support (As Needed)

Assist with occasional school/activity prep

Light supervision or childcare when trust is established

Help prepare/unpack clothes, bags, and items for kids’ activities

Help clean and organize family vehicle

Additional Notes

Must use own vehicle for errands (mileage reimbursement available)

Severe pet allergy in household—ideal candidate does not own pets

No heavy childcare duties expected, but trust and comfort around kids is essential

We’d love someone who takes initiative but never makes us feel like "the boss"—this is a partnership!
