Flintstone Properties is hiring a Property Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance and tenant-facing operations at two mobile home communities in the Chicago area: Meadowcreek MHP and Wood Dale Estates. This role is perfect for someone who thrives outdoors, is a general handyman, takes pride in maintaining clean spaces, and enjoys hands-on in the field problem-solving.
This position is not administration-heavy - you’ll be supported by a full administrative team of back-office staff who handle the majority of tenant inquiries, creating and sending digital notices, payment processing, permits, tenant violation processing, and more! This means, you can focus 100% on maintaining the parks and managing the on-site experience. Machinery, Equipment and Company Vehicle is provided for use at both parks.
Your Responsibilities:
· Groundskeeping – mowing, trimming, planting, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
· General Maintenance – minor plumbing, electrical, and repair work
· Inspections – regular walk-throughs of park grounds, common areas, and home exteriors
· Team Supervision – directing on-site helpers and contractors as needed
· Emergency Response – being available for occasional after-hours issues
· Compliance & Safety – ensuring safe practices and adherence to park rules
· Tenant Communication – being visible and approachable on-site, listening to resident concerns, and ensuring those concerns are passed to the administrative team
Requirements:
· Experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping, and/or hands-on facilities management
· Basic mechanical/plumbing/electrical/repair skills
· Know how to operate and maintain equipment, machinery, park vehicles
· Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, problem-solving ability, and a can-do attitude
· Physically fit and able to handle hands-on tasks
· Be able to drive, have a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driver's abstract
· Completing inspections and reporting on park issues is done via team chat, apps; you will have to use a computer, and frequently access Google Drive/s and Mail - being able to use these tools is a must
· Prior experience in a similar role, working independently, and being able to accurately report to an off-site head office in a timely manner is required

Position includes paid time off and company health and dental plans. Salary range for the position is $25 - $29/h based on relevant experience.
