Banford Road Farm is a certified organic vegetable and flower farm in Woodstock, IL. We are looking for part time help starting immediately and ending sometime in October. If you would like to start your own farm someday or a homestead, I can teach you everything you need to know. I strongly prefer people from Woodstock or within 20 minutes of Woodstock. Please check google maps before applying if you live far away. You must be reliable, on time, physically fit, and capable of lifting 50 lbs. You must have a car. I cannot pick you up from the train. Some gardening, landscaping, or farm experience is preferred
Duties include harvesting vegetables, washing and packing vegetables, clearing beds and preparing beds for planting, transplanting, weeding, and other general farm tasks.
Starting pay is $17/hour, W-2. After you are fully trained, your pay can increase to $18/hr. There is also potential for increasing you to full time hours.
