Job Title: Environmental Technician or Scientist at Trihydro Corporation

Location: Lockport, Illinois

Job Summary:

In this role you will support the operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems and conduct environmental monitoring. The work will include remediation system troubleshooting and repairs, system monitoring and data collection, system evaluation and optimization, and collection of environmental samples.

This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of field work, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct remediation system operations, maintenance, & monitoring.

- Perform groundwater fluid level monitoring.

- Collect environmental samples from a variety of media (groundwater, sediment, soil, soil gas, air, stormwater, surface water, and industrial wastewater).

- Compile and evaluate environmental data.

- Assist project managers and client representatives with field work coordination.

- Perform health and safety oversight.

- Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

- 2-3+ years of relevant experience.

- A strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members.

- Employment history within an industrial setting, or a related field, with an emphasis on working with hands and using tools.

- A clean driving record.

- Time management skills and a high degree of professionalism.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

- A demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.

- Leadership skills to manage field events and subcontractors.

- Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables efficiently and on schedule.

- Integrity and dependability, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

- Willing to travel.
