Job Responsibilities:
Clean, wax, and polish all exterior aircraft surfaces by hand, with buffers or any other tools required on painted surfaces, polished aluminum surfaces, and other equipment such as aircraft landing gear or flight controls.
Vacuum, clean, sanitize, and condition interior surfaces including carpets, seats, instruments, lavatories, and galley areas inside both the flight deck and aircraft cabin.
Teamwork and courteousness to fellow employees to maintain a positive work environment and ensure completion of every job.
Careful attention to detail to ensure all aircraft surfaces and crevasses have been meticulously cleaned, conditioned, and/or polished.
Some work will require traveling with the team to various airports within, but not limited to, Indiana, Illinois, or Michigan.
Must respect every customer's needs and concerns, both directly or indirectly, to ensure a positive customer service experience has been exceeded for every job.
Safety is a priority, and all prescribed OSHA or company safety measures and training must be followed to reduce or eliminate accidents while working.
Any other duties or responsibilities as prescribed.
Requirements:
Ability to work any shifts on any days, including nights and weekends. Must be willing to arrive early or work late to ensure completion of a job.
Punctuality and reliable attendance are a must.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and have the ability to stretch, reach, and grab to detail hard to reach areas of an aircraft throughout a shift.
Must be able to work on your feet, stoop, kneel, lay, and maintain balance on various surfaces throughout a shift, including small or tight areas inside an aircraft.
Must be able to comply with all company protocols and procedures to ensure all equipment is detailed according to strict safety and quality measures, especially around delicate instrumentation and critical flight surfaces and controls.
Must come to work on time with a professional appearance and be able to follow company dress guidelines.
Must be able to pass any pre-employment checks and drug tests.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Experience/Education:
High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
Prior aircraft or automotive detailing experience a plus.
Aviation education, a working knowledge of aircraft, and/or aviation work experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
